SUMMARY:Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Conference
DESCRIPTION:The annual Governor's Industrial Safety and Health Conference offers up to three days of training and education\, providing the latest tools\, technologies and strategies for workplace safety and health. On Tuesday September 24 optional all day pre-conference training sessions will be available. The main Conference days will be on Wednesday and Thursday. New this year we will offer the option to attend one or both days of the main Conference.\n\n \n\nThe Pole Top Rescue Competition is held during the Conference with preliminaries on Tuesday and the finals on Wednesday. Be sure to catch this interesting and amazing event in Tollefson Plaza next to the Convention Center.\n\n \n\nIn our annual tradition\, we will also honor the Lifesaving Award recipients during the main Conference.\n\n \n\nAlternating between the eastern and western side of the state each year\, the Conference attracts approximately 1000 attendees interested in improving workplace safety and health. More than 300 volunteers representing the diversity of industrial Washington contribute to its success year after year!
